The Give and Grow partnered with the Sacramento Kings for their Team Up for Change event, which brought together 50 adolescents from the Sacramento area. The 2023-24 season marked the 6th installment of this initiative and introduced "Mindful Hustle," a transformative program aimed at fostering mental health awareness and entrepreneurial skills in youth. The event empowered participants to prioritize mental well-being, build resilience, and explore entrepreneurial opportunities. During our basketball planter workshop, we discussed personal growth and the valuable lessons plants can teach, while participants shared their life goals and strategies for navigating their journeys with tools for both mind and body. Each participant took home a Wilson Sacramento Kings basketball planter as a reminder of the experience.
